12/6/24: Rossview’s star guard will continue to be a personal favorite of mine thanks to his elite first-step quickness. Like vertical bounce a player’s first step is kind of innate. You can improve slightly, but athleticism tends to be a gift you are born with or not. Jiyair gets going in a hurry. He might be asked to do too much this year if Rossview’s other players do not improve rapidly. The team is replacing an exceptional Class of 2024 and early indications are that the new cast needs a lot more development outside of JiYair.

Rose possesses a lethal combination of scoring, playmaking, and athleticism. He leaves defenders in the dust on the way to the basket, and finishes in traffic and through contact. He can shoot off the catch and dribble from deep. His vision and passing ability created open looks for his teammates.
