About Jerome

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m more of a 3-level scorer. I can knock down shots when needed, but my game is mainly built around attacking the paint and creating off the dribble. My mid-range is solid, especially off pull-ups and fades, and I like playing downhill to put pressure on the defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ve got a strong mentality when it comes to basketball. I’m always locked in on improving my game and outworking whoever I’m competing against. Whether it’s extra reps, film study, conditioning, or staying in the gym late, I’ll do whatever it takes to elevate my game. I play with confidence, stay composed under pressure, and never back down from a challenge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I earned MVP honors for my AAU team through consistent performances, leadership, and impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my basketball journey, I’ve developed strong leadership and team-first qualities. I communicate well on the court, keep my teammates involved, and bring energy on both ends of the floor. I take pride in being coachable, staying disciplined, and doing whatever it takes to help my team win.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I faced was having to adjust my game against bigger and more physical defenders. It pushed me to improve my ball handling, footwork, and finishing through contact. That experience helped me become more confident under pressure and taught me how to stay composed in tough game situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college program that competes at a high level and can help me continue developing both as a player and a person. My main interest is playing at the Division I level, especially around the New Jersey area, but I’m definitely open to opportunities out of state if the fit, culture, and coaching staff are right for me.
