About Jensen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a reliable catch and shoot shooter and consistent play maker. I can use my handles and get down to the paint for an easy layup or dish it down low to my big. Whenever I have the ball in my hands, I do not accept a miss, I sprint back on defense and provide good pressure while playing clean defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality has always been to get better everyday, whether that starts in the weight room or in the gym. I don’t remember the last time I didn’t put shots up in a day. I’m consistently getting better and better. I absolutely hate losing and do everything I can to win. I push my teammates to be better everyday as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Ever since I’ve been apart of Court45 basketball, my leadership has improved a lot. I have developed the skill to move on and forget. For example, if I miss a few threes in a row, that doesn’t stop me from shooting more because eventually I start hitting them and when I’m hot I am unstoppable from the perimeter.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I frequently sprain my ankle which only gets me out of playing hard for like 5 days max but when I do have to sit out, I constantly train my ankle and stretch it out so it can heal faster.

A 6-0 guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, Garfield showed the ability to knock down shots off the catch with a high, quick release, as well as create quality looks for both himself and his teammates off the dribble. He’s an active defender with good hands and quick lateral movement that allows him to contest shots on that end of the floor.
