His athleticism and size allow him to attack downhill, while his improved vision helps create opportunities for teammates. Whether operating on or off the ball, Lewis brings versatility that translates well to the next level.

Lewis continues to make significant strides as a ball handler and playmaker, further enhancing his value as a combo guard this spring. Possessing good positional size, length, and above average athleticism, he has the physical tools to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Lewis is capable of functioning as either a scorer or distributor, showing improved comfort initiating offense and making plays for teammates. He creates his own offense effectively off the dribble, uses his athleticism to get downhill, and has the versatility to play multiple backcourt roles.

Galuski’s teammate with Skills Center Elite, Lewis is a long, athletic combo guard with the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. He showed solid playmaking ability in Ohio, demonstrating good vision and the ability to create opportunities for teammates while also generating offense for himself. Lewis is comfortable with the ball in his hands, can create his own shot off the dribble, and does an excellent job getting downhill and attacking the paint. His length, athleticism, and ability to score from multiple areas of the floor make him a difficult matchup for opposing guards.

Lewis is a long, athletic scoring wing with the ability to create his own offense off the dribble. He does a great job getting downhill and attacking the paint, while continuing to improve his consistency as a perimeter shooter. More than just a scorer, Lewis also shows solid playmaking ability, as evidenced by his 5.5 assists per game this season at Strawberry Crest.

Lewis, the anchor of the Crest team, had an outstanding performance. He scored 15 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. As a junior guard, he’s a formidable presence on defense, effortlessly jumping the passing lanes. When the ball in his hands, he’s a skilled scorer. He is capable of creating his own shot and getting the baskets he desires. Moreover, his athleticism contributed to him securing  7 rebounds to keep them in the game.

Lewis is starting with a bang out the gates. He is already averaging 14.5 points 4 boards, 7.5 assists and 2 steals in the first two games. This guard can get out and move. His uptempo pace and crisp passing have helped Crest start off 2-0 in the regular season. Lewis is coming into his own and helping Crest win games right out the gates.

Lewis, the 6’3” combo guard, led the Chargers with an impressive 21 points per game last season. His exceptional facilitating skills complement his scoring ability. This season, Jayson will be tasked with guarding his opponents’ best guard and effectively locking them down. Expect Jayson to make significant contributions on both ends of the court this season.
