Boyne will be a player to monitor going into his sophomore season with East Pennsboro. With great upside, Jayson has already proven to be a reliable ball handler who can create for himself or others. He’s got a great feel of where and when to cut, as well as when to make the extra pass. Jayson has the potential to be a really good defender, as he plays on that end with massive effort. He can stay in front of the ball and gets in the passing lanes frequently.

Boyne is an all-around guard who does a nice job putting his fingerprints on different facets of the game. He has the ability to score from behind the arc. Boyne scores as a slasher off the ball and has good grasp when to roll to the rim. Even though he isn’t overly tall he shows that he has great length and I still think he has some potential to grow a bit. He does a nice job advancing the ball up the floor on transition. Boyne is primed for a big sophomore campaign and should make a name for himself in the Mid-Penn Conference.
