About Jayeon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 6’2 combo guard that can get to the rim and shoot it well on all three levels. Also I can bring the ball up the court and handle it under pressure.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the court I’m a kind, confident young man who just loves to play basketball, and when I step on to the court I have a dog mentality

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of the Ajamhoops organization based in East Tennessee. I have one many school awards for second honor roll, which is maintaining As and Bs for the entire semester

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills that I am good at is being a leader on and off the court by lifting up my teammates and my peers. Some stuff that I used to do is pick up trash for the church

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Some challenges that I have faced is being injured and not being able to play basketball for a while, and having to come back stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any type of college that is offering a good education and built around a good coaching program that is going to push me and also give me a opportunity.
