A versatile and skilled four man, Faulkner fits perfectly into the modern game. The Curtis transfer would have been on top of the list as far as PSAL breakout candidates had he stayed. Faulkner is sneaky athletic, exploding off the floor for put back dunks while getting up and down it fairly quickly. He’s a good passer and rebounder, playing with a chip on his shoulder allows him to guard up as well. This is the biggest and most athletic St. Peter’s team in recent memory- so it will be interesting to see how Faulkner and the Eagles fair this season.

One of my favorite NYC prospects still flying under the relative radar, Faulkner is poised to lead a resurgent St. Peter’s unit. A bouncy 6-foot-7 forward, he is at his best when attacking the paint and had a handful of impressive finishes at the rim, as well as rebounded at a high rate. As he gets used to his new teammates, he should go back to showcasing some of his burgeoning perimeter skillset as well.

He showed high upside, averaging close to 25 points per game last season playing JV. He grabbed an offensive rebound to draw a foul on a layup attempt. He contributed with a help-side block and displayed good defensive fundamentals, challenging and contesting shots without fouling. He attempted a one-step dunk and executed the pick-and-roll effectively with Washington. He also recorded a transition block, showcasing his athleticism and ability to run the floor.

Jayden has tremendous potential and upside, consistently using his athleticism to impact the game. His instincts and physical tools allow him to control the glass and protect the rim, highlighted by an impressive help-side block that showcased his explosiveness.
