Jax left a lasting impression at the Sophomore showcase by simply out-working everyone on the court from baseline to baseline. Even though there isn’t any gaudy attributes or one dominant skill, his heart and competitive nature made him impossible to overlook. Belgard chased every loose ball diving on the floor to gain extra possessions. He was also a pest on defense which in a showcase setting that often favors the player who just wants it more. Jax’s sheer heart, grit, and high-level want-to, will surely earn him varsity minutes this upcoming season.
