Lane is a 2028 prospect out of Houston Memorial whose combination of size and perimeter skill continues to stand out when I watch him play. At his size, he has the ability to handle the ball, attack from the perimeter, and make plays over smaller defenders. He does a good job using his frame to create advantages offensively while also showing the ability to make plays for teammates. Defensively, his size and versatility give him the ability to compete against multiple perimeter matchups. Lane’s combination of size, skill, and versatility makes him one of the 2028 prospects to continue watching.

Lane’s combination of perimeter skill and legitimate wing size makes him an increasingly interesting prospect. At 6’5″, he can operate as a secondary handler, attack from the perimeter, and see over smaller defenders when creating for teammates. He’s at his best when using his size to create advantages rather than overhandling, getting downhill against guards and making the next read once help arrives. Defensively, his frame gives him the versatility to take on several perimeter assignments. Continued improvement as a shooter and creator could push Lane’s profile another step forward.
