About Jarvis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Defensive is key, I only want to guard the best no matter the position. I am a SG/PF. I like to get to the basket but also make the best play for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a student of the game. I take all training and development seriously. I'm coachable and a leader. I want to win so whatever that means for my team I'm willing to do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an honor roll student with a 3.90 GPA. I play both football and basketball which take up most of my time.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I always help with the younger athletes at track meets and camps. I feel like my past year has helped me develop a coaches mindset being a player/Coach on the field and court. I have a better full perspective of the game and intervened with my teammates when necessary to get them on track or provide encouragement.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my acl and meniscus in June 2025 and I lost my whole sophomore season of sports. I lost my bonus sister in May of 2023 just 2 months before moving from MI to LA and being apart from my Dad and Sister for a year. I have suffered, but I am persevering daily. My injury and my loss will not define my future.

What type of college are you looking for?

A place where i can grow into an independent man. Play the sport I love and God willing develop into a professional athlete.

Jarvis is back in action and looking like he hasn’t missed a beat. He attacks the basket with confidence, slashing to the rim and finishing strong through contact. His athleticism stands out on both ends of the floor, allowing him to make explosive plays in transition and around the basket. Defensively, he brings versatility by guarding multiple positions and making an impact with his energy and effort. Jarvis continues to show why he is a valuable two-way player every time he steps on the court.
