About Jammir
Expert Analysis

This was my second time getting to watch guard Jammir Major in the last two years and he continues to capture my attention with floor spacing and quick shot creating. He has a crafty dribble package that he can utilize to get to his spots and is shifty with the ball, making defenders off balance and unable to close out. He had several good assists on Saturday that led to teammates getting clean looks at the basket from all areas of the court.

Major is a quick left-handed guard with strong scoring instincts. He also shoots it very well. Jammir is extremely deceptive with the rock while getting downhill to create shots for himself and teammates.

Major was one of the best players in the gym and his next level potential is clear. He is an elite ball handler, and on top of that he is fun to watch. He plays the game with a high IQ constantly making the right basketball decisions and he just tough guard. He is one of the best guards I have watched this year and coaches looking for a next level talent should tap in. He is a high level shooter in addition to his ability to score the ball. No flaws in his game, and I dare say the kid has an even higher ceiling. Watching kids that play with an edge and have fun on the court is in short supply of todays game, and his confidence is through the roof making him one of those guys you hear about, but don’t get to see in every gym.

Jammir was one of the best players at the showcase when it comes to quick decision making and high IQ at the point guard slot. Major constantly uses blazing quickness and a variety of dribble moves to knock down pull up jumpers, draw fouls at the rim, and be a consistent playmaker. Major finished the game with about 15 points and 6 assists, showing that he not only impacts as a scorer but also as a willing passer.
