How do you think your AAU & HS summer league went? What is your outlook on your upcoming season?rn-My AAU and HS summer league has great been for AAU i have developed more into a wing which i’m going to play in college. My high school summer league went very well, we played well in every tourney we played and i think for next season we can make a deep run into state.
What are some things that stand out about your game? Things that coaches can see and know you excel atrn-Things that standout about my game is that i am a very athletic wing that can really get too the hoop whenever and finish with contact, I am a good defender i can guard 1 through 5 and also a very underrated passer.
What are you looking for in a school beyond HS?rn-For me the most important thing in finding a school is first how will i contribute and if i will be able to get a lot of minutes right when I get there.
Have you been in contact with any coaches/schools? If so, what schools?rn-I have been in contact with Whitman, Puget Sound, Emerson College and Lewis and Clark.
What do you want to improve on most in your game before playing at the next level?rn-The most important thing i want to improve in my game is for sure my midrange if i can get a pull up midrange in my game i feel like i would be hard to guard.

Atwood has always had the strength and size to make a big difference on the court. This spring he has shown better decision-making on drives. He’s avoiding the tendency to put his head down and dribble into bad spots, and has picked his lanes better, recognized opportunities and been a more efficient player scoring the ball. If he continues to approach the game with this improved awareness, he could be a big riser over the next year.

Atwood was a nice complimentary piece for Woodinville in 2021-22 but as one of just a few players returning who saw big minutes last year, he’ll see a much larger role this season. Atwood is a physically tough player who bangs on the boards, can muscle his way to the hoop on drives, and has even grown a little since last season. The Falcons lost a lot of size from last year’s team and Atwood will be a key player working in the paint and on the wings. He really worked to improve the jumper over the summer and he should be one of the top scorers for Woodinville this winter.

Atwood is the epitome of hard work. This summer he constantly had to battle against bigger players in the paint but Atwood is good at finding leverage and using his quickness to stay in front and harass bigs. He is one of the better forwards on this list at attacking off the bounce and specializes offensively at getting to the rim. His effort reaches across all categories, especially on the boards both with second-chance opportunities and shutting down defensive possessions. He’ll big part of a revamped Woodinville team that should contend in the Kingco 4A.

No. 5 | This kid is strong and you can see when he plays that he’s locked in on both ends of the court. He hustles down to stop fast breaks, makes offensive players earn their buckets, and plays team ball. He can affect the game with his rebounding, especially on the offensive glass. The other way he puts his mark on the game is getting to the hoop. I mentioned his strength, but he has a good feel for the dribble and gets the angle on defenders, bouncing them off his hip and making space for the layup. His Woodinville squad was close last year, losing out to a tough Central Valley team in a three-point regional game. Atwood is going to be a big part of a tough Falcons team.
