Huff has done a great job with the ball in his hands and has really shown off his decision-making as a point forward in transition. He’s improved in just about every category from a year ago, increasing his points (16.6 to 20.6), rebounds (8.5 to 9.4), assists (2.2 to 2.8), and steals (2.2 to 3.3). His jumper continues to improve, but it’s really been his decision-making, shot selection, and passing that have stood out this winter.

Huff has been a big standout on the defensive end with his length, reactions, and shot-blocking ability over the past year. And while he’s been effective by the rim on the offensive end, his outside shot is starting to look more consistent and easy, which could spell a big season for the versatile wing.

Huff has the ability to be an absolute game-changing defensive player with his length, reactions, and desire to compete. We saw it first-hand last season as he earned DPOY in the KingCo Lake, and he’s continued to impact games as a shot blocker, sneaky off-ball defender, and a guy who can guard multiple positions. He’s shown some smoothness attacking the paint too, and when he is on rhythm offensively, he’s one of the more dynamic players at his position.

Huff is a great athlete at 6-foot-7 who excels on the defensive end with his ability to cover ground, change directions, and go up and get shots. He can control the paint with his shot blocking but is also pretty versatile thanks to his length and ability to recover once beat on the perimeter. He’s a strong rebounder, can take up space in passing lanes and clog the middle, and has been a big presence on the defensive end this spring.

James is an insane athlete and played fantastic over the AAU season last year, showing big growth in his game. He jumps out of the gym with his athleticism and runs the court in a big way to get easy buckets. James is a bucket getter on offense, scoring from all 3 levels and showed this by dropping 41 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

Huff is a wing who really took some good steps forward over the AAU season and showed how he can affect the game in lots of ways. Shot-blocking, scoring from different spots, and he’s one of Lindbergh’s key playmakers. He should be a standout for them on both ends and continues to trend up in the 2026 class.

Put together a really nice game against Sumner on both ends of the floor. Was a solid playmaker on the break, has the athleticism to get the board and push the ball, and was really looking to draw defenders in and then kick it out to shooters. He rebounded on both ends, blocked several shots, and used his length to get in passing lanes. He also found some space in the corners to knock down triples. Huff looked like a real game-changer out there and could be a guy who takes off and hits his stride this season.

James has taken a big step when playing for NW Drip this summer. He has great length and uses it well on both sides of the court. He runs the court in transition very well, being able to make big time dunks if he leaks out and is open. He has improved his deep shot a lot, being a solid catch and shoot player from deep.
