Jamari Ross has a chance for a bigger role this upcoming high school season. He offers size, instincts, and makes hustle plays on the defensive end. Jamari Ross caught my attention during the high school season with his shot blocking abilities. He has good patience and waits for the right moment to go for the swat. Ross also has some strength, which helps him defend the paint and box out. On offense, Ross scores a majority of his buckets on the inside, and he’s been improving his jumper this offseason.

I really liked the way that Ross battled in the paint against The Meadows School’s bigs. He didn’t back down one bit and had some nice blocks. Ross was also productive on the offensive end. He made some good post-moves and scored 10 points in second half + overtime.
