Parson deserves all the recognition he’ll be getting this summer. He’s a high-intensity guard who does whatever it takes to win and consistently impacts the game with his toughness and competitiveness. If scoring is needed, he can absolutely torch defenses in transition with his speed and attacking mentality. When asked to facilitate, he does that at an extremely high level as well, making smart reads and creating opportunities for teammates. He’s a true gamer with a great feel for high-pressure moments and the type of player coaches love having on the floor when the game gets tight.

Parson is quickly emerging as one of the more intriguing guards to keep tabs on this summer because of the relentless energy and competitive fire he brings every time he steps on the floor. He’s a tough, fearless, high-motor playmaker who impacts the game in a variety of ways and consistently rises to the occasion in key moments. Offensively, he’s explosive in transition, using his speed, aggressiveness, and attacking mentality to put constant pressure on defenses before they can get set. When the game calls for him to facilitate, he does an excellent job controlling pace, making sharp reads, and creating quality opportunities for teammates. His poise, confidence, and feel for the game stand out, especially when the intensity ramps up late in games. Beyond the skill set, it’s his gritty mindset, leadership qualities, and willingness to do whatever it takes to win that make him such a valuable piece. He’s the type of guard coaches love having because of the toughness, versatility, and edge he brings on both ends of the floor.

Not many kids in the state can impact the game the way that Parsons does on the defensive end of the floor. He’s strong, quick, and has some of the quickest hands in the region. He uses his strong base to stay low and keep bigger guys away from the rim while harassing smaller ones on the perimeter.

A prospect to know on the hardwood as well as the football field out of JH Rose High; he’s a self-starting lead guard who creates opportunities with his ability to pressure the ball the entire court; underrated and still raw athletically but gets after it off the bounce offensively; a hidden gem in the 252 area

Defensively you won’t find many guards in the area that put pressure on opposing guards like he does. He’s a solid built two sport athlete with quick hands and feet that he used to excel in the passing lanes and when he was guarding the ball. His offensive is evolving but his sticks to his strengths and doesn’t over do it with the ball in his hands.

Playing up for the eventual champion Warriors Life Elite 16s squad Parsons did some of everything to help his team win. Defensively he was an absolute terror on opposing offenses averaging just under 2 steals per contest but overall making it tough for other guards to get a rhythm. On the other end, he got downhill at will finishing multiple times at the rim, and even showcased an improved jumper in the mid range. He averaged 11 points per game on the weekend.

Parson is a former Fab40 ENC MVP set to make his debut on the varsity basketball scene with JH Rose High. He’s a strong-framed guard with a nose for defending the entire floor and attacking the paint to find opportunities. He’s a long-term floor general to know given his IQ on the floor, especially on the defensive end of the floor.
