Williams, a First Team All-Region selection, averaged 19.5 points and 6.5 assists per game while serving as the engine of his team’s offense. The quick, high-scoring lefty guard is difficult to keep out of the paint, using his burst and craft to break down defenders and create opportunities for himself and others. An above-average athlete with good body control, he finishes through contact and thrives in transition. Williams has long been one of the most impactful guards in Georgia and has proven he can shoulder the weight of an offense. The lefty has a knack for taking over stretches of games. What separates Jakobe is his elite ability to draw fouls. Few guards manipulate defenders the way he does. He understands angles, changes speeds, initiates contact and consistently gets to the line — and then converts once he’s there. That’s a translatable skill at any level. He’s more than just a downhill driver. Williams is a capable perimeter shooter who creates separation with a tight handle and crafty footwork. He keeps defenders off balance and can score from all three levels. As teams send extra attention, he has shown the IQ to make the right read and serve as a facilitator. His blend of scoring instinct, foul-drawing craftiness and playmaking feel make him one of the more complete unsigned guards still on the board.

The lefty is one of the most impactful guards in Georgia. Jakobe has shown the ability to carry a team over the course of his career. Williams has averaged 19.5 points, 3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.7 steals per game thus far this season. Where Jakobe is elite is his ability to draw fouls on drives. He does a great job baiting contact and converting at the line, 35-40 (88%) so far. Williams is a good shooter from the perimeter as well. He creates separation with his handle. And while he can score from all over, he is also crafty and smart enough to recognize his ability to draw the attention of the defense and in turn serve as a distributor.
