The recent Tufts University commit continues to improve and become more productive. The center can stretch the floor with shot making out to 3, has some touch in the paint and has improving mobility and athleticism.

Pace Academy’s improving big man can stretch the floor at the offensive end with shooting range out to the three point line. Agolli also has touch in the paint to go along with improving mobility and athleticism. The senior has taken visits to some of the top academic institutions in the country and will be a player to keep a close eye on during his college career.

Agolli, a true big man out of Pace Academy in Georgia, impressed with his ability to dominate the paint, while also showing a bit of floor spacing ability in transition. Pushing 6’11”, he does a nice job of moving, both in space and inside the paint, uses his length to his advantage defensively, and is a productive rim runner in transition. He sets solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and has a huge catch radius. Out of the trailer position, he has the ability to make standstill threes. Defensively, he does a nice job of walling up in the paint and is really good at holding his box outs on the glass.

Stretch big has upside at 6-foot-10. Steps out and shoots the three well. Can score around the rim and alters shots. Shot 38% from deep. Late bloomer coming on strong.

Jake has stretch-forward skills. He can hit the corner three and has a nice touch along the baseline. Agolli finished with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block. The sister of star volleyballer Grace Agolli has late bloomer upside and should start popping up on college radars.
