About Jaimarion
Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Mathis is an under the radar prospect in the 2027 class who brings an intriguing combination of length, athleticism and energy to the wing for Cedar Grove. He is an explosive, slashing wing with a quick first step and the ability to attack the basket off the dribble. A high level athlete who plays with a high motor, Mathis is particularly effective on the defensive end, where his length, activity and athleticism allow him to disrupt opposing offenses and turn defensive stops into scoring opportunities. A late blooming prospect with plenty of upside, Mathis is a senior worth keeping an eye on this season.
