We only seen bits and pieces of Spears this past Spring and Summer, but we know he’s going to be a contributor at his new school Sacramento high. He’s a versatile tough minded prospect who’s going to get his points, one way or the other. He’ll use his length to help rebound and defend. He’s a good ball handler and willing passer.

He’s long with good agility and improving movement on the court. He looks primed to take his game to another level this season. Consistency will be key for the long wing as he looks to put points on the board in transition, and using his dribble drive to finish in the paint challenging defenders, taking it up strong and hitting paint jumpers. He’ll help rebound, and defend multiple positions.

Spears has long arms and an improving set of skills that gets him quality minutes playing with Jalen Green 16. In Rock Hill he was productive using his length to score tough buckets in the paint. He got rebounds, went coast to coast under control once. His handles and toughness will get him points in the paint. He’ll make 3’s, and defend multiple positions.

The long armed 2025 prospect had a breakout game scoring 26pts. His versatile skill set is starting to show as we move past the mid-way point in the season. He had good finishes around the basket. He found a rhythm to his 3pt shot from the corners. He did some handling in open court, and was helpful on the inside defending, and rebounding.
