Vance moves well for his size and this was on full display at the Sophomore ID Camp in Appleton. Jacoby can guard pick and roll, even when ball handlers attempted to put him on an island in 5 on 5 games. In addition to his skills in guarding PNR, Vance rebounds well and is extremely physical inside on the defensive end. Offensively, Vance understands spacing and had a really nice back door finish where he was able to finish through physical contact to convert an easy two.

Vance has the size to drive his way to the basket, he’s not afraid to fight through contact to get there taking on defenders and drawing fouls in the process, knocking down his shots at the free throw line for easy points.
