Jacob is a menace of a defender. He is a slasher and shooter on the offensive end. Smith can get to the rim with ease and can spot-up shoot as well. Last week, he went 8 of 9 from 3 in the first game of the Stomping Grounds tournament. Jacob is an all-around solid player.

The other half of the Breakers back court, Smith showed a good ability to get down low and drive the lane. Getting to the basket with ease by putting on a solid spin move to go along with a fluid finish at the cup. Smith is aggressive in the defensive side of the ball as well, pressuring opponents to create turnovers. At one point getting the steal and converting a fastbreak opportunity at the other end.

Smith shoots it well off the dribble, knowing how to get to his spots in the mid-range as well as knock down shots from deep. A lefty with a pure stroke, he can also create plays off the dribble for his teammates, attacking the painted area and getting the defense to collapse.
