We’ve talked about Baumker’s shooting and hustle. So let’s look at the fact that he was just a good old fashioned game influencer. Baumker always seemed to be around loose balls. He had a nose for the big play and always had a part in it. Baumker is a high IQ player with a bright future.

Baumker caught my eye at the Great Lakes Closer. He was a high-energy, high-motor player. Baumker shot the ball well from behind the arc, showing a good feel for what a good shot looks like. There were a couple of times when he used his hustle and speed to beat the defense back and get high percentage looks.
