Blocker was a huge presence in the Watauga High frontcourt and a big man to get to know with the Carolina Riptide on the Phenom Hoops League scene. He’s a sizeable presence at 6-foot-8 who’s shown he can be a defensive anchor and consistent finisher around the rim on offense. He posted 12.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game on 57 percent shooting from the floor this past season as Watauga made a run to the Elite Eight in the NCHSAA State Playoffs.

Blocker is a sizeable big man out of Watauga High to get to know. He put up 12.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game as an underdog in the playoffs as they made a deep run to the Elite Eight of the NCHSAA State Playoffs. His size and ability to play a role in the painted area is something for DI and DII programs to take a look at. He’s a prospect with Carolina Riptide to get to know in the frontcourt with his size/length.

Blocker is a sizeable name to get to know with 7-seed Watauga. He’s put up big numbers on the interior as the Pioneers are in the Elite Eight and set to face North Mecklenburg on Friday. He put up his third double-double of the year against West Forsyth with 18 points and 11 rebounds on Tuesday night. They’ll need him to be a presence in the painted area in similar fashion against a much bigger test.
