Smith has great size and the handle to create space and get an open look from anywhere on the court. He plays a bruising style of basketball and loves to play with his back to the basket. Has an array of post moves and can finish with either hand. Displays great moves on and off the dribble, which gives him the ability to beat defenders. He’s not afraid of contact and plays a fearless style of basketball that will suit him well.

Smith had a standout performance at The Expo as he did what he wanted during the 5-on-5 sessions. The 6’3 wing finished strong with a couple of dunks above the rim and ran the floor well in transition. Smith also used his handle to get to his space on the floor and rose up nicely on his jumper. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and showed the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Smith’s versatility in the half court is something that will help his stock throughout the course of the season.
