Nutter is a very shifty guard who is captivating whenever the basketball is in his hands. He consistently pressured opposing defenses by finding ways to get into the paint, where his quickness and change of direction made him difficult to contain. Once he got downhill, he created quality scoring opportunities for himself while keeping defenders on their heels. Nutter also proved to be a reliable perimeter shooter, connecting on several shots from behind the arc and making defenses respect him at all three levels. His combination of speed, shot-making, and ability to break down defenders makes him an exciting offensive weapon.

I was impressed by a couple of Big Shots West Virginia Reign guards in Myrtle Beach, and Nutter was often the one running their offense. His lack of size never felt like a disadvantage, because he isn’t shy to drive and finish around the trees, is well-drilled in playing off two feet, and reads the defense well to set up teammates. Isaiah also worked hard to contain the ball, showing his full two-way capabilities in the backcourt. Isaiah finished with 12 points and 4 assists in a tight loss to the eventual 17U champions.
