Isaiah Hines
About Isaiah
Expert Analysis
Scott Hankamp | Prep Hoops Scout
Hines showed that he will be an electric guard this high school season. His straight line speed, quickness and hip movement will be a flat out strength and a mismatch. Hines showed transition mid range touch with a nice pass fake to clear space and a floater finish. He hit another mid range bucket on the wing later in the game. Hines showed that he can be a fearless shooter with a high arching 3 from the corner and a catch and shoot 3 late in the game that pulled OLSM within 3.

Hines used his speed to wiggle by defenders to get to an array of spots on the floor. He uses his low center of gravity to turn the corner and fit through small gaps. He plays with a good deal of confidence when he steps onto the floor. He was able to turn defense to offense and is really effective in the open floor. College programs looking for an experienced guard who has an all-around game should take a look at Hines.
