Isaiah Brown
About Isaiah
Expert Analysis
Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
Brown was giving his opposition trouble due to his combination of size, strength and soft hands to catch contested entry passes to the paint. Once Brown caught the ball on the block or in the dunker spot, it was almost always two and sometimes three points thanks to his ability to finish through contact. A tough player to move in the paint as well because once he got position Brown was not moving outside of the paint. An excellent piece for his SOH team, Brown provided a different dynamic next to their talented guards.

Brown delivered in the clutch for Stranahan, hitting a game-winner with 4.5 seconds left to secure a state championship win. At 6-9, he’s still coming into his own but has already flashed the ability to score inside, rebound at a high level, and protect the rim. As he continues to add strength and develop his post game, Brown has the potential to be a strong interior presence moving forward.
