Hayes is a combo guard who hustles to make plays all over the court. He excels at attacking defenders, getting to the basket and knocking down perimeter jump-shots. In the match-up against Trippz Hawai’i Basketball 15u, he stayed in “attack mode” throughout the game. Every time Hayes touched the ball, he went at opposing defenders. His aggressive style of play, led to him scoring on strong dribble drives to the basket. Hayes also showed his prowess as an outstanding rebounder. He attacked the glass with the same ferociousness as he did when he looked to score on offense. I feel confident in saying he finished the game with a double-double in points and rebounds. Hayes is a hardworking player who goes all out for the team. I believe he’s the kind of person who does whatever it takes to win games. Whether it’s scoring, rebounding, defending or doing the dirty work.

Hayes made his presence felt with his activity around the basket and on the glass. He fought for offensive rebounds and created extra possessions through effort and positioning. Defensively, he used his length, quickness, and footwork to keep players in front and make scoring difficult. His energy and defensive activity stood out throughout the game.
