He set the tone defensively with his on-ball pressure, ability to create turnovers, and anticipation in passing lanes. Offensively, his high IQ, pace, and advanced scoring ability made him a difficult matchup throughout the camp.

He set the tone from the opening tip in Saturday morning’s 10 a.m. game with his defensive anticipation and activity, consistently jumping passing lanes and creating steals. Offensively, he showcased his high-level ball-handling ability, remaining poised against pressure and controlling the pace of the game. He also did an excellent job creating opportunities for his teammates, consistently making the right reads and setting them up for quality scoring chances.

Harrison Knotts averaged 18.3 points, 1.3 made threes, and a +49 plus/minus. His pull-up jumper stood out, especially because he can follow that shot with touch finishes around the basket. That combination makes it difficult for defenders to decide whether to give him space or crowd his handle.

Why he earned the badge: Knotts’ perimeter threat creates openings for his pull-up game and drives, allowing his shooting ability to impact more than just three-point attempts.

Development Focus: Continue improving efficiency and decision-making when attacking closeouts.

Playing up a division throughout the summer, he has proven that he belongs among the older competition. His ball-handling is polished, and he plays with a noticeable level of confidence. What stands out most is his poise and ability to control the tempo of the game, a rare trait for someone his age. His creative dribble moves consistently generate separation, allowing him to get to his spots and knock down shots with ease. A smooth, crafty guard who relies on skill, footwork, and feel for the game to make an impact.
