About Hamade

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

At 6'5", I'm a shot-creating wing known for my smart decision-making and ability to get to my spots efficiently. I’m not the most athletic on the court, but I make up for it with elite basketball IQ and strong fundamentals. Whether it’s creating space, making the right pass, or reading the defense, I play the game with precision and purpose.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach the game with a calm, focused mindset always thinking a step ahead and looking to outsmart my opponent. I’m unselfish, coachable, and take pride in doing the little things that help my team win. Confidence and consistency define my game, even when the spotlight’s off me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership by setting the tone with my work ethic and keeping my teammates engaged, whether we’re up or down. I value teamwork and always look to make the extra pass or communicate on defense to keep everyone locked in. Off the court, I try to give back when I can helping out at community service and being a positive role model in my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is not being as naturally explosive as other players at my position. While I can still rim graze and hold my own physically, I’ve had to rely more on skill, footwork, and basketball IQ to stand out. It’s pushed me to study the game deeper and sharpen every detail, turning a perceived weakness into a competitive edge.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a Division 1 college with a strong basketball culture, great coaching staff, and solid academic support—somewhere that values player development both on and off the court. Good dorms and campus life matter too; I want to be in an environment where I can feel comfortable, focused, and connected with teammates and the community. A place that feels like home but pushes me to grow.
