Zein is a player that I’ve been very familiar with since he started middle school. He’s a true point guard that can shoot, but doesn’t have to in order to have an influence on a game. Zein can get the ball up the floor with minimal mistakes. He can also initiate the offense with a pass or a drive.

Zein should see his name in print much more. The perimeter player has the quickness needed to cause trouble for defenders. Zein can find and hit jumpers as well. Just last night he scored a team high 14 points in a close 61-60 win against Fordson. Don’t be surprised to see some nice scoring numbers and assist numbers from Zein this season.

Zein caught my eye a few times at the event and his shooting prowess was definitely 1 reason why. He showed DEEP range, hitting a triple from well beyond the arc. Zein was also able to connect on a contested triple attempt.
