I wasn’t too familiar with Fudge before this month’s MIAA Showcase, but the 6-foot-4 guard really impressed me there and is primed for a breakout senior season. The Arlington product returns after being named an all-star last season, and he should take on a larger role this year with some players leaving. He is a lights out shooter from three—both off the dribble and off the catch—but he also has explosive athleticism at the cup and can finish acrobatically around the defense. Fudge has enough help around him to make Arlington a solid team this year, too, and he strikes me as a kid who could just be hitting his stride as a player (especially because he’s the younger brother of Lincoln, another excellent athlete).

I didn’t know Fudge was as good as he is. The 6-foot-4 wing has really solid positional size and length—he’s bigger than most other MIAA guards and wings—but he moves quite well and can score from all three levels. He knocks down shots consistently from the three-point line, but he also has really solid athleticism at the hoop and a knack for finishing acrobatically, as well as the ability to hit pull-up jumpers. Fudge is the younger brother of Lincoln, who had a nice career at Arlington HS before transferring to Brimmer and May. Griffin, too, seems like a potential post-grad candidate who could see a lot of recruitment interest if he had another year of high-level competition under his belt.
