The top interior scorer on the Midwest Pumas CC team, Weakley does a nice job of using his frame to shield off defenders to score in the paint. Whether it’s a drive, a cut or a post up, Weakley uses soft touch at the rim to convert a high percentage of shots in the paint. With a style of play that fits the physical and halfcourt grind it out play of the Columbus Catholic League, Weakley should be one of the most productive players in the conference as a senior for a program that’s always a tough out in league play and the postseason.

Weakley will do most of his effective work on the interior of the paint. Maybe out sized in terms of height at position but he will use his strength to make up for it. Offensively can score on the block and present good touch or gain an edge to the ball off the rim for second chances. Defensively uses quickness to get into passing lanes or cause deflections against more size. Will bang down low to win positioning. Overall has a physical presence that brings rebounding and toughness to the front court.

Despite DeSales missing a couple key pieces, the Stallions were a tough out for multiple teams on Friday. Weakley is an old school forward who finishes below the rim using angles and his body to shield off defenders. Also able to make an open shot from the 3-point line and relied upon to secure rebounds to finish defensive stops, Weakley is incredibly valuable to their group that has consistently made deep playoff pushes.

Weakley’s scoring and defense is very impressive He is a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc with a quick release. If the defense takes away his shot, he drives to the basket and can finish through contact. He pressures the ball and collects steals while containing opponents on the perimeter.
