An explosive athlete with a great first step, Gary blows by defenders and gets to the rim routinely off the dribble. He finishes through contact at the rim with either hand. He’s a good on-ball defender who moves his feet, and he has quick hands that he uses to make life uncomfortable for opposing ball-handlers.

Gary is a strong, athletic guard with an explosive, quick first step that he uses to blow by defenders and get to the rim for finishes. He finishes really well around the bucket through contact. He does a great job playing with pace, changing speeds to help get by defenders, and he’s a gifted passer with great court vision. On the defensive end he’s a really good on-ball defender who moves his feet well and he has quick hands that he used to routinely pick opposing ball-handlers clean.
