Over the course of a couple of Prep Hoops Circuit events we have seen this 6’3″ guard from Victory Christian shoot the ball very well from beyond the arc. Whitaker checks the boxes in terms positional size on the perimeter and has a very quick release off of the catch. The way he can squeeze them off and make tough shots in tight windows is very impressive. Definitely a worthwhile prospect for college coaches to see.

We got to see Whitaker really get hot from three-point range in a game on Friday night for 219 Elite 17u. The 6’3″ guard from Victory Christian in Indiana is one of the better under-the-radar perimeter shot-makers in the northern part of the state. He can make tough shots on the move, displays good footwork when coming off of screening action, and has deep range that puts a lot of pressure on the defense. Whitaker is one to keep an eye on for anyone in need of shooting.
