Johnson is a lengthy and wiry wing/slasher that leaves his imprint all over the game on both ends, showing versatility as a defender, and the ability to score in the paint, as well as create off the wing, and excels in the open court of play. Johnson had one of the more productive days on the court, especially when the event got to 5 v 5s, where he was able to showcase his skill set with the ball in his hands and taking opportunities to put up points in volume by making the extra hustle play or crashing the boards to get points off the glass, and he will be a front-runner for a league MVP and a likely early contender for a Section title. Johnson has active hands on defense, good lateral agility, timing to be in the right place at the right time, and has good reaction time to make impact plays on defense that lead to steals with deflections and jumping passing lanes to get the ball out, as well as alter shots in the paint and on the perimeter shot. Johnson has solid handles, good moves to create off the wing with the crossover, hesitation, the wrap-behind, and fadeaway to get space from his defender, is effective with the jumper, and is most effective looking to score from within 20 feet of the basket but with the ability space the floor with the 3-ball off the catch or the dribble.
