Williams averaged about 16 points and seven boards as a sophomore, and while his stats regressed a bit in his junior year (11.9 points, 5.6 rebounds), that could be more a product of his team as a whole taking a step forward. He’s a strong post at just 6-foot-4 who has good touch around the paint, plays under control around bodies, and can really provide a steady presence on the offensive end. He was a big reason they made the leap to 20-5 after finishing 6-18 in 2023-24.

Very strong kid who makes heady plays on both ends. A bit undersized height-wise sometimes in the post but takes his time to find openings and outsmarts taller posts. Very technically sound with his feet and possesses pretty good touch around the paint to finish in different ways. In top ten in both scoring and rebounding in MCC with 12.1 ppg and 6.0 rpg.

Williams is a nice post/wing player who played a background role this past season, working hard on the boards, playing solid and strong in possession, and making heady plays for a freshman. He worked his way into Chiawana’s starting lineup at times last season and should be able to carve out a larger role next year with two of their leading guys graduating this summer. Williams has a nice shooting touch around the paint and could improve to include more looks outside the arc next season.
