Shifty guard with a bag full of hesitation moves and quick-trigger stepbacks from deep. Perez constantly kept defenders guessing with his stop-start motion and twitchy first step. His ability to create separation with minimal dribbles made him a perimeter scoring threat every time he touched the ball.

Gabriel proved to be a real deal threat from beyond the arc. He knocked down multiple 3 point shot attempts throughout the game. He was able to relocate when he was off of the ball to find open spots on the floor and get his shot off. Perez used his quick release to make the defense pay for giving him space. Perez is never standing still on the floor. He makes it really difficult to guard him because of his movement without the rock in is hands.
