Njenga is a versatile and bouncy forward with tons of upside. Honestly, I don’t know a lot about Colby Community College, but offering Njenga is a REAT first impression. I saw him score from multiple levels and rebound the basketball at the PH Michigan Expo and I was left with no doubt that he’s a college talent.

OK, Big Rapids isn’t Northern Michigan, but Gabe is a Rankings Riser that I’ve seen play and I want to commend his hard work. Shows up to play every night. Tall and athletic and is very smooth and comfortable around the rim. Shines in the trenches and isn’t afraid to use his size to dominate the paint. Has had some offers trickle in, but he’s been putting in the hours, so we expect to see some more offers and campus visits in the near future.

First of all, Njenga showed out at the Prep Hoops Michigan Expo. His athleticism and length were at another level. This high school season he’s continued to be a playmaker around the rim. Njenga has both scored and rebounded at a high level. Plus, he’s been extremely efficient, shooting at an over 50% clip from the field.

Njenga was a big time player at The Expo. His improvement over the last 6 months or so was very apparent. He was a solid scorer around the rim with his body control and athleticism. Njenga showed he could dish the ball in traffic with a solid pass across the lane for an assist. He was one of the better help defenders on Saturday as well with at least 1 block and at least 1 forced turnover.

Njenga is a player that I’d like to see more and that I know coaches would love to check out at The Expo. He brings a lot to the table as a multifaceted forward. Njenga can fill a wing in transition and is dangerous finisher in the open floor. He’s got a strong vertical game and could catch a lot of eyes in Grand Rapids.

Njenga will be at the Chi-Town Tip Off with Indiana Game 2025 UA Rise. He’s a prime candidate to make a lot of noise this grassroots season. Njenga is a versatile forward that is a menace in the open floor. He can attack the rim off the bounce and finish with 1 or 2 hands. Njenga is a bouncy athlete that has impressive positional size and ball skills.
