Evan Sterck looked really sharp against Nebraska Supreme on Sunday afternoon. While he made a ton of really tough shots, he also did a nice job facilitating for his teammates. Sterck is the type of player that his teammates feed off of. He has a tremendous feel for the game, and understands when to go get a bucket. Sterck is a really crafty guard with a deep bag offensively. He looked like the best prospect on the floor, playing up an age group against a really good Nebraska Supreme team.

The 6-1 point guard plays extremely hard on both ends of the floor, as well as one of the top perimeter shooting threats in his class. His ability to create on the offensive end has drawn attention from college coaches early in his recruitment period. Watching Sterck right off the bat, it is hard to believe he is only a sophomore. It’s not often that you see a player that understands how the PG position is truly played and is only in his sophomore year of high but that’s the case for this young man. He plays the game with a maturity well beyond his years, communicates well with his teammates and coaches, doesn’t take many bad shots and most importantly, he’s not a guard that turns the ball over very often.
