Taylor is a bullish forward who is a walking double double without a play being drawn up. He plays a lot bigger than his listed size. Taylor had two assists and showed that he can pass the ball. He is a switchable defender. He is a bit undersized for his position but he doesn’t let that define him.

Though Taylor is undersized for a true power position in the paint, against the Trojans, he played the pivot and did so extremely well. Taylor caught and scored almost everything that came his way. He was setting strong screens and rolling hard to the basket and the guards were finding him on the cut. Taylor showed a flurry of post moves to draw his defender in the air or to try and initiate contact. Taylor finished the game with 28 points.
