Ethan made sure his presence was felt in the paint! He used his strong frame to make sure he controls the paint at all times. During bracket play he was relentless on the glass. He did a great job seeking contact and successfully boxing out his opponents. He also showcased his ability to be a real threat offensively. He dished out some really nice passes throughout the early morning game on Sunday. He recognized when the defense collapsed on him and consistently made the correct play. He rejected multiple shots as well throughout the teams championship run.

Friday made his mark as a multi-positional defender who could hold his own from positions 1-4. He altered shots with his length and contributed on the boards to limit opponents’ second chance looks. Offensively, once he found his rhythm, he knocked down threes and got to the line by attacking the paint with purpose.

Friday is a player that can get out and run the break in transition being able to finish at the rim. He can step out and knockdown the 3 ball making the defense pay when they do not close out properly. He has good vision and can outlet quickly pushing the pace.
