The 6-foot-1 combo guard makes plays for his teammates, can light it up from beyond the arc, and is a tough perimeter defender that plays with great energy and effort. Rochin had a great showing in one of the best games of the Shootout, as he would have a huge second half, scoring 13 of his 16 points after the break, connecting on 3 threes, in his team’s tough 2-point loss to Liberty of Brentwood on Day 2. Rochin moves fluidly off the ball, gets to his shot spots, squares up, and is accurate with the 3-ball off the catch, has active hands on defense and the lateral quickness to jump passing lanes or deflect passes, and is a good positional rebounder that can push the pace of play in the open court. Rochin has the handles and moves to create off the bounce, gets paint touches routinely, makes good use of the pivot to find open players cutting off the ball, and has good body control on the jumper when in the air, from the mid-range to the 3-point line.
