Abele is a swingman who has some nice foundational pieces of a blossoming skill set. He showed the ability to score in a variety of ways, does a nice job attacking the rim, and made the most of his opportunities at the foul line. He also uses his length effectively to disrupt driving and passing lanes, while flashing some potential as a perimeter shooter. Abele reached double figures in his team’s loss, and I want to see him continue sharpening his handle when navigating through crowds and adding strength to his frame. He has some intriguing tools to build on as he continues to develop.
