A frontcourt prospect with plenty of long term potential, Matelus is a mobile big man from South Florida who impressed with Team Breakdown this summer. Most of his offensive production currently comes around the basket, where he uses his size and mobility to finish in the paint, while his overall skill set continues to develop. Matelus is a productive rebounder who impacts the glass at a high rate and has the athleticism and length to alter shots around the rim. As his offensive game continues to expand, he has the tools to keep trending upward in the 2028 class.
