Folkenroth has shown encouraging progress and continues to develop into a reliable frontcourt presence. He has excellent timing as a rim protector, routinely saving points with his ability to contest and alter shots around the basket. He also does a good job positioning himself to secure rebounds, giving his team extra possessions and limiting opponents to one shot. Offensively, Folkenroth is still a bit raw, but his game has steadily improved over time and there are signs of continued growth. I’d like to see him become a step or two quicker, as improved foot speed would help him cover more ground defensively and expand his effectiveness on both ends of the floor. His development trajectory is trending in the right direction.
