Evans is a talented two-way guard who put up huge numbers at Waterloo Christian (now Cedar Ridge Christian) last season before transferring to Waterloo Columbus for his senior year. He put up 26.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game on 43-38-77 shooting splits for the Regents, and will give the Sailors an athletic guard with a great feel for the game.

I’m looking forward to getting my first in-person look at Evans, a player who has jumped out on tape when I’ve seen him. A lead guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor, he put up 14.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks as a sophomore for the Regents. He has a good feel for the game and can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor.
