One of the top scorers in the small town ranks. Vanoss is 6-0 and last week won the Pontotoc County tournament. Brown had 22 points in their semifinal victory. Next up is the Boyd Hauser Invitational at Tishomingo this week. The last State Tournament appearance for Vannos was in 2022 in Class A. With Browns’ ability as a scorer, they have a strong opportunity to make State in Class 2A. They’re currently ranked 2nd.

Brown is along armed lefty with a throwback game. Scores very well in the mid-range, with handles that create space for jumpers or allow him to carve up the defense.

The lefty is a productive scoring guard, with good playmaking skills for a team filled with shooters from deep. Has a bit of an unorthodox shooting release, but it does works. Often ending with silky, nothing but net makes. Has been overlooked in central Oklahoma, but did score 38 points in his varsity debut last season. Hudl highlights paint the picture of a good small town scorer with the size and frame to be a collegiate guard. Hopefully will get a first hand look at Brown next month at the Class 2A State Tournament.
