A relentless downhill attacker, Baker imposed his will on defenders with sheer size, strength, and determination. Once he got a head of steam, he became a freight train in transition, using his physicality to power through contact. Lowering his shoulder and attacking the basket with force, Baker was nearly unstoppable once he got inside.

on the bench and Baker made the most of his opportunity. He showed ability to get to the basket and finish tough layups through contact as well as always finding his open teammates for a good look at the basket. Dyllan does not let pressure faze him and he was able to come through in the clutch for his team multiple times during one of the opening tournament games. Dyllan currently has an offer from University of St. Thomas!

Dyllan was a big-time backcourt mastermind during Friendswood’s early morning loss against the Summer Creek Bulldogs. Baker had several important cuts to the basket where he made some critical layups for two-point buckets to help his team stay in the game and he also knew when to reset the offense and find his squad wide open for a quick swing pass and knockdown jumper. Baker has underrated combo guard ability and a smooth release on his floater/layups at the rim as well as being able to pull up in the midrange and occasionally shoot the long ball when needed. If this game was any indication, his stock should be rising big time come this varsity year for Friendswood as one of the senior leaders.
