Pace and decision-making

Collins stood out at the Jr. EYBL Open Southeast Session 1 in Bermuda Run, North Carolina. His efficient scoring, strong pace, and a mature feel for the game. He made smart decisions with the ball and consistently put pressure on opposing defenses.

That combination is encouraging for a young guard. Playing fast is one thing; knowing when to change speeds, attack a gap, or get teammates involved is what makes pace useful. Collins showed signs of that understanding during the event.

Boog’s Take: Continued development in creating separation against physical on-ball defenders and making reads against help defense will be important as the competition gets stronger.
